We provide corresponding solutions for several common faults of hydraulic pumps.
1. Solutions for No Oil Output or Pressure
- Correct the rotation direction.
- Refill oil to the indicated level.
- Clean the suction line or oil filter to ensure unobstructed flow.
- Increase the speed to above the minimum required for the hydraulic pump.
- Check the oil quality and replace it with hydraulic oil of suitable viscosity or raise the oil temperature.
- Replace seals or joints.
- Tighten screws.
2. Solutions for Insufficient Flow or Pressure Cannot Increase
- Remove debris to ensure unobstructed suction.
- Apply oil at the suction end connection; if improvement is noted, tighten the connection or replace the seal, and lower the suction height.
- Tighten appropriately.
- Perform a sequential inspection of the system.
- Identify areas with excessive clearance and take corrective measures.
- Replace components as necessary.
- Replace the piston, and grind the contact surfaces of the distribution plate and cylinder body to ensure good contact; check or replace the center spring.
- Inspect the variable mechanism and correct any adjustment errors.
- Replace faulty parts.
- Repair the pressure relief valve.
3. Solutions for Severe Noise and Pressure Fluctuation
- Remove debris to ensure unobstructed suction.
- Apply oil at the suction end connection; if improvement is noted, tighten the connection or replace the seal, and lower the suction height.
- Replace seals as needed.
- Tighten appropriately.
- Reinstall to ensure concentricity and tighten connections.
- Replace with hydraulic oil of suitable viscosity to improve oil quality.
- Use a filter with higher flow capacity.
- Reduce speed to below the maximum allowable speed.
- Clean or replace the pump body.
- Inspect and repair relevant parts, disassemble, and clean the pressure relief valve.
4. Solutions for Overheating
- Replace with hydraulic oil of suitable viscosity.
- Repair or replace the side plates and shaft sleeves.
- Change the oil.
- Increase the tank size to expand the heat dissipation area.
- Adjust pressure and speed.
5. Solutions for Leakage
- Replace the spring.
- Replace oil seals or sealing rings.
- Inspect and repair as necessary.
- Replace faulty components.
